GUIDELINES FOR MIDSTREAM AND DOWNSTREAM OIL AND GAS
INDUSTRY SERVICE PERMIT (MDOGISP) OPERATIONS

c. Company’s current Tax Clearance Certificate or Income Tax Certificate (for Enterprises).
The following shall be noted:
i.
Federal Inland Revenue Services (FIRS) Tax Clearance Certificates (TCC) are
acceptable for Limited Liability and Public Liability Companies
ii. Personal Income Tax clearance (issued by States) of Chief Executives are valid for
Unincorporated Companies (Business names registrations, Partnerships, Sole
Proprietorships, Enterprises, etc.).
iii. Tax Clearance Certificates (TCC) uploaded in applications during the preceding
permit year remain valid and acceptable until 31st March of the new permit year,
in line with the Federal tax laws.
iv. The address on the Tax Clearance Certificate should correspond with either the
provided address on the company’s application profile (operational address) or
address on the company registration documents.
d. Employee’s compensation scheme (Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund-NSITF). The
following shall be noted:
i.
Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) payment registration uploaded in
applications during the preceding permit year remain valid and acceptable.
ii. Applications shall be submitted with a valid NSITF certificate or payment receipt.
e. Certified true copy of Memorandum & articles of Association (This applies to Limited
Liability Companies).
3.2.3
Additional Documents for Major and Specialised Category
The following additional information may be required for all Major and Specialised Category of
applications:
a. Registrations by relevant Professional/ Certification body. The following shall be noted
as may be applicable:
i.
All permit holders are encouraged to be members of professional bodies related
to the service they intend to provide.
ii.
Companies maybe be required to submit duly issued instruments (licenses, permits
and approvals) by recognized Regulators/Institutions/ Associations in that field,
which are subject to verification.
b. Key staff of the Organisation are required to be members of Professional Organisation
or possess relevant certificates or certifications related to their job function.
c. List of relevant Equipment where applicable. The following shall apply.
