Loading petroleum liquids or natural gas and its 
derivatives into a ballast tank or any other tank, 
container or receptacle of a ship or tanker other 
than as designated, dedicated and designed for 
the storage and transportation

PETROLEUM PIPELINES

A person who commits an offence under Sections 
228 or 230 of the Act in relation to a matter under 
the petroleum pipelines provisions of these 
regulations  
a) a penalty not exceeding 
than USD $2,500,000 or its 
Naira equivalent at the 
prevailing Central Bank of 
Nigeria exchange rate. 
 
b) The pipeline or any ancillary 
installation 
shall 
be 
removed and the person 
shall 
make 
good 
any 
damage done to any land 
by such removal.
